Chapter 21 Day 2

Tucson, Arizona
Lazydays KOA #1357

What a great facility for a rally.  While the weather has been nice other than a little windier than normal it was nice to have our continental breakfast in a private quiet room.  We didn't sign up for the Biosphere tour as we've been many times.  Most of the rally attendees went on the tour this morning a little after 9 am.

Sharon and I took off this morning to go to the fabric store.  Sharon had never been to this one and was amazed at the selection of trim they had.  We both agreed on two different trims for a tablecloth I'm making.  I bought both and will have some extra if I make another one.

I haven't been in a Trader's Joe in a long time so we stopped and got some things for Happy Hour.

When we left in the morning Bill was out sitting at the patio table carving.  When we returned a few hours later, he was still carving.  It's really coming along nicely.

I'm so happy he is back into carving.  I think he has a real talent and he needs to be using it.

Before we knew it, it was time to go for Happy Hour.  All of the rally events are held in the Grand Canyon room.  Jean and Marti have really done a nice job of planning the rally.  Everyone that went on the Biosphere tour were saying how nice it was.  They all said the tour guide could be heard by everyone.  After Happy Hour Sharon and Don wanted to go out for dinner, but we'd had a large lunch and just were not hungry.

Tomorrow we are going to Sabino Canyon.  In all the years we've lived in Arizona we've never been, so we're looking forward to it.  It sounds like it will be a good day for a hike.

  1. Bill certainly is talented. Amazing what he can do with a piece of wood. We missed you at the picnic today. But again you're just having fun, fun, fun.
