Montana Owners Club Fall Rally--Day 1

Goshen, IN
Elkhart County 4H Fairgrounds

It's official, the 13th annual fall rally has begun.  We go to a lot of rallies and events, but I have to say this is our favorite.  We've met many nice people here.  Everyone is extremely helpful and friendly.

We helped with the parking crew.

I sit by the sign and wave the newcomers into the right gate and then welcome them.

I caught myself in time, to avoid waving in the wrong brand.

I really almost goofed.  I must say I have noticed that my cataracts have affected my vision.  I got so excited I almost flagged in a Lowe's truck.  It was white with blue lettering.

Notice Ron is upright on his bicycle.  He did have an accident, but I didn't get the camera out in time.  He declined to do it again for a photo opportunity.

Susie and I made a quick trip to Shipshewana flea market and were back before noon.  I'm sure that is a record fast trip.

All of the above photos were early arrivals.
Most of the coaches arrived early, but we had a steady flow in Wednesday morning.

Everyone was in by registration time except for two rigs.

I have no idea, but being as calendar and time challenged as I am, I missed the coordinator's meeting.

But, I was on time for the Meet and Greet event.  I will say that the Montana owners have some great cooks, excluding me.

This is the cold food tables.

Lot's of hot foods were available.  All this and we haven't had a potluck yet.

It was very noisy as people greeted old friends and met new ones.

There was a prize drawing but we didn't win anything.

I think I counted 6 tables full of prizes.

  1. Do you ever get burned out on all these rallies you attend? You must be one party animal !

  2. Must be about time to get those cataracts done if you're flagging down Lowe's trucks. Have fun and I hope you get your leak fixed.

    1. Yeah, I probably should have had them done last spring, but couldn't seem to fit it in the schedule.

  4. Looks like you are having too much fun there, way more than we would enjoy for sure. Keep on doing what you do.
