Winter Blast 2018--Monday

Lake Havasau City, Arizona
Sara Park Rodeo Grounds

We pulled out of Casa Grande a little after 8 this morning.  Ron and Mary followed us.  I drove today with the intention if the weather turned bad, I would give Bill the wheel.  I ended up driving the whole way.
We stopped at the first rest area on I 10 for a comfort break.  We usually stop at the first one as the parking for truck/rv has more spaces than at the second one.  It was a good thing as the other one was closed.

I said we'd be at the casino around noon, but we were about a half hour late.  Pam and Randy were there with Dale and Chloe.  They had a table for twelve, but Carolyn and Craig were behind us.  We weren't sure about Barb and Dave as they were having slide issues.

Since I was driving I didn't do any texting to let anyone know when we would be there.  Everyone seemed to enjoy their lunch and there was a lot of talking going on.  This was the first blast for all three couples so there was a lot of questions.

It was a short drive from the casino and everyone was spaced perfectly so that traffic could get around us.

We really have no complaints about our site location.

Yes, we do have a bigger site than most.

I believe row K is already full.

That's Barb and Dave's new motorhome.  The last time we saw them, they had a Montana.

Here's Paisley with her parents, Barb and Dave.

One of many beautiful sunsets we will see here.

We'll be looking in this direction soon and seeing nothing but RV rooftops.

Tomorrow is our Fat Tuesday potluck.  Linda H., we'll be thinking of you.
