Winter Blast 2018 Thursday

Lake Havasu City, Arizona
Sara Park Rodeo Grounds

This morning started with a little hiccup.  Bill went out to start the generator and had a problem keeping it running.  He ended up changing the oil in it.

It meant coffee was delayed.  We ended up getting a late start to the store.  A lug bolt, some wire for a repeater for the tire monitors and a birthday cake were on the list.

I can't believe how hard it was to find the lug bolt.  We went to 6 stores before we found one at Big O Tire.  The salesperson asked how many I wanted and I said two.  He came back with them and said no charge.

Brother-in-law, Dave came down with his torque wrench and put the bolt back on the wheel.

Happy Hour started at 4 pm and there were still some questions about what to expect and where could we watch the fireworks.

Ron came over to say Mary was under the weather again.

We all walked over to their coach carrying the birthday cake and sang Happy Birthday to Mary.

Of course, she had 29 candles on the cake.

Ron told us about Scotty's restaurant and it looks like most everyone is planning to go tomorrow for the fish special.

One look at that sky said it was almost time for the show to begin.  Everyone went back to their coach for jackets.

Everyone moved their chairs on the south side of our coach to watch the show.  I think it was a great show to begin the rest of the week.

If you haven't been to Winter Blast, it's worth adding it to your bucket list.

    1. You won't see me posting any pictures of the show. I've learned over the years, I'm not good with a camera and the few I've taken make the show look terrible. You're just going to have to come next year and take them. I'm sure yours would come out great.
