Bill says he feels like a turd

Branson, Missouri
Branson Stagecoach Campground
Pull Thru # 46

Bill said he felt like a turd.  Let me explain a little bit.  The last few days we have had a lot of gnats. Bill said he felt like the gnats were after him, like they would if he was a turd.  I didn't say it--he said it.   I had my traps, but they didn't seem to be working.  I finally changed the cider vinegar and caught nearly all of them in a few hours.  I didn't realize I needed to change the vinegar regularly.

Not much to say about today.  We left this morning in cold and windy conditions, but dry.  The sun was shining, so I said I'd take the wheel the first half of the trip leaving Bill with the congestion of Springfield and Branson for the second half.  Thank you, Marilyn, for telling us about US 60 being four lane the whole way.  It was a beautiful drive and for some reason, the wind doesn't seem bad with this coach.  I drove for over 4 hours before Bill wanted a potty stop which means we would change drivers.  It just happened to be 8 miles from Springfield.  I really didn't care, the drive was very pretty.  I'll bet if he was driving, he would have needed a potty stop sooner.  The leaves were blowing everywhere and fall is definitely in the air.

I programmed the RV park into the GPS but she couldn't find it.  I then tried my smartphone.  The phone would say turn left, the GPS right but somehow we managed to find it.  The wind was still blowing and I don't think it reached 60 degrees.  I came in turned the fireplace on and announced, I wasn't going anywhere the rest of the afternoon.

Bill went outside and visited with our neighbors and I watched TV.

Tomorrow is soon enough to play tourist.
