Bill Had A Baby!

Lake Havasu City, Arizona
Sara Park Rodeo Grounds #Q1

The Blast continues......the weather is perfect and I think everyone has arrived that is here with the MOC members.

Today Linda and David began decorating began early this morning for the second annual Mardi Gras party.

The weather was perfect and we all set outside solving the world's problems.  I guess we'll need another day to solve all of the problems.

This is the view out our dining room window.
There is a cave in this photo just a little left of center.  We'll take another photo of it when the Blast (Winter Blast Pyrotechnic Show) starts.
Here's where you enter the rodeo grounds and wait to be led to your site.  We are very close to the registration trailer so we didn't have any waiting at all.

Dennis and Linda are trying out their new sun shade.  It really cools the awning area and looks great.

Look what we found today.  Not one but two.  The stink+ bugs from Goshen last fall are coming out in the 80 degree weather.  Hope that is all we find.

It's almost time for the Mardi Gras party.  There were tables and tables of food, beads and masks.

This is what Bill wore to attend the party.

It didn't take me long to shed the boa.  I wasn't into the feather feeling.

I love David's hat.
Linda did a great job of planning the party.

Linda had little cakes for everyone and the one who found the baby won a prize.
Guess who found the baby?

I didn't find out if it was a boy or girl.
Can you tell if it is female or male?  Bill won a Wal Mart gift card.

We all discovered wearing masks over glasses was not meant for old folks and we soon found most people discarded them.

It was so much fun and everyone who brought a dish was an excellent cook.  John Kohl even smoked some pork from his new smoker.

Everyone had a good time and stayed throughout the evening.

Even the fur kids came out to enjoy the fun.

This photo of the portable campfires is for Rollie.
One performed better than the other.
