Creekside Estates RV Park
Polly called and said they were in Natural Bridge, Virginia waiting on two tires for the RV. They had a blowout on I 81.
About an hour later she called back to say they were driving over here either Thursday of Friday.
Around noon she called to tell us they were on the road and would arrive in the afternoon. The weather forecast was predicting showers around 4 pm. At the rate they were traveling they should arrive a little before 4.
Polly was going to stop at the Pennsylvania information center for a road map and they'd be here directly. I know I already have readers wondering why you would go through Pennsylvania to get from Virginia to West Virginia but trust me it is the quickest way. We're about 40 miles from Pittsburgh in the northern panhandle of West Virginia.
About a quarter to three Polly called again to say they had another flat tire. This time it was on the inside dually of their new truck. They were about 70 miles away. Of course this is when we had a downpour.
It was raining lightly when they arrived and after they got wet setting up, the sun came out. Isn't that they way it always is?
We've had non stop visitors since we've been here and we love every minute of.
Oh yes, the mobile service repaired the AC. It was a loose wire on our thermostat. Very professional and efficient. I would recommend him if you needed a mobile service in the area.
We're headed out to the Crooked Dock, one of our favorite places to eat.
