Mesa Usery Park
Mesa, Arizona
I want to thank all those thoughtful people who called or sent condolence cards to us in the recent death of my Dad.
I know it's been awhile since I blogged, but just wasn't ready to get back to blogging. All of you who reminded me how long it's been gave me the reason to get back to it.
Where are we today? We're in Mesa Usery Park for an Escapee Chapter 45 Anniversary party/camp out that commences tomorrow.
Does this give you a hint of who we saw? Yep, Jim and Sandie Dixon.
We visited for awhile and then went to a great Mexican restaurant called Los Gringos. We all agreed that our steak fajitas were the best we've ever tasted. The service was excellent. We both shared a meal and there was so much, we couldn't quite clean the plates.
We don't drive at night, but we ended up talking so much that it was dark when we left the restaurant. Thankfully, we didn't have far to go.
When I downloaded these photos I had this photo in the file. I had been searching for boots for the Alaska trip and I found these rubber shoes with fuzzy lining. Of course, the big excitement was they were less than $20 on sale.
Tomorrow I have an appointment for the eye doctor and another one on Thursday. Hopefully, everything will be fine and surgery on the eye next week will go well.
Turtle Safely........
Nice to see Jim and Sandie again.

ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteSorry for the loss of your dad Jan. Enjoy your time out at Usery, we love that area. In fact so much so that we just bought an acre within walking distance to the park's trails. Wishing you great success with your eye surgery and a speedy recovery.
