No one is interested in hearing about how busy we've been with check ups at the doctors so there's only one thing to mention in the blog.
Today we went to Mickey D's for the Escapees Chapter 45 luncheon. I must say the meals have improved.
There was a large group of Chapter 51 members who visited today. It was nice seeing members we haven't seen in a long time.
We invited Jan and Paul Kelpe to join us. Paul was a little upset when I told him we were going to Mickie D's. I failed to mention the word "cafe".

I'm sure the quality of the meals was much better than the fast-food giant could deliver.

It's about time.
Yes. They actually give us a selection of three items. Yesterday's menu was an oriental chicken salad, pork sandwich with cole slaw and potato salad or an egg scramble. They charge $9 for the meal, the tax, our drink and the use of the room.
ReplyDeleteWe actually have never had a bad experience at McDonald's. For fast food, it's good. Had Carls the other day, even better.
