Casa Grande, Arizona
We really enjoyed our short time visiting with Jim and Sandie. She had heard good reviews about the Creative Cafe and wanted to try it. Poor Bill, the last few times we've gone out to dinner the selection he picked always seemed to be the worst on the menu. This time I decided on fish and chips and so he said he'd try it too. It wasn't very good at all. The cole slaw that came with it was all yellow looking and had a strange taste. The fish had no taste and the french fries were cold. Jim ordered a lamb gyro and it looked good and Sandie ordered a philly cheese steak sandwich without the cheese. It came with cheese and she sent it back. As RVers we know it isn't about the food but the company you are with.
Sandie is really excited about the travel trailer and says she will be doing some of the driving this summer. Jim still looked tired but it's no wonder. While Sandie and I went over to the mall looking for new things for her trailer Jim spent the time adjusting, installing and fixing stuff on the trailer.
We made a history stop before it got dark.
We walk by this monument many times and it is nice that it has been changed but looks like they are still waiting for a plaque.
The Fogler's just called and said they are on their way down. It will be good to see them again.
Thanks for visiting the blog today and your comments are much appreciated.

So sorry your fish wasn't good. My sandwich was good and I would order it again. We're still tired - think we'll ever not be again?
ReplyDeleteI am sorry. Must have been a bad day for Creative Cafe. We had both great food and service.
