BLM land
Another wonderful day out in the middle of the desert without hook ups. Our day started out with us going to the Quartzite Senior Center for a gun show. We thought it would be interesting to see what a small town show was all about.
We stopped and registered for our two week limit on the BLM land as the office was closed when we came in yesterday.
It was so pretty outside and for my northern friends in the upper 70's, so we decided to walk around the many flea markets here. We decided to do the one across the street from Silly Al's. After circling the parking area twice for a parking place, we decided to go over to Tyson Wells flea market. Bill found a parking place as someone was leaving. I believe there are many more people and rigs than last year. The tent doesn't open until Saturday so it looks like they will have a great turn out.
Look who we saw at the flea market. Ed and Sandy were members of the Loosey Goosey Gang that went to Alaska last summer. It was good seeing them.
Turtle Safely.......
You and Bill look great! I love his hat; and your spinning turtle!
ReplyDeleteI found the turtle at the Shipshewana Flea Market.
DeleteLooks like you are having a great time.
ReplyDeleteYou can't come to Quartzsite and not have fun.
DeleteA;ways lots of fun in Quartzite to much to see and do, enjoy..
ReplyDeleteWe don't stay as long as you do since we don't have solar so we have to cram a lot in the short time we're here.
DeleteGlad you are enjoying Quartzsite. Still hoping to drop in and say hello in a couple of days.
ReplyDeleteBe Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
There seem to be so many more people full timing and just RVing in general that I'm not surprised you feel there are more rigs there this year.
