Winter Blast--2018--Fat Tuesday

Lake Havasau City
Sara Park Rodeo Grounds

Fat Tuesday at the Winter Blast, it doesn't get any better.

We never even left the rodeo grounds today.

Yesterday when I was driving, I noticed the exhaust brake wasn't working.  Bill opened the hood on the truck to check and see if we had a blown fuse.  In no time at all Dave walked over to help check out the problem.

Well, when you open the hood at a RV event, there's always a crowd.  Craig walked over to help and gave us the name of a dealer that installs the Pacbrake.

Dave found an air leak and even went to the local parts store to get the parts to repair it.

Even Paisley celebrated Fat Tuesday with a mask and beads.

Paisley modeled her mask very well.

I know we are all retired but who says that life has to be boring.  Dave did go back and get his helmet.

Wow, you would have thought that potluck was held in Louisiana the dishes were so authentic.

Out of the 20 people that attended, 16 of them have never attended the Blast before.

Even though Phoenix was having bad weather, it stayed nice here.

Some of our Montana owners--Carolyn, Rondo and Mary.

Barb and Dave have never attended the Winter Blast.

Randy and Craig were solving the world problems.

Some of the ones who attended last year had some medical problems and had to cancel at that last minute.  These couples were on the waiting list for a site and were lucky enough to get a site.  I keep saying it fills fast and you can't wait to register.

Beckie and Jon fit right in.  They were able to get George and Linda's site when they cancelled.

Sherry and Dave arrived today but they are parked on the hill.

I  was making the King Cake and when I went to put it in the oven, I couldn't get the oven to turn on.  Mary put it in her oven and baked it.

Guess who found the baby in their piece of cake?

Dave was the one to find the baby in his cake.

Dave was crowned King and Rondo was the photographer.

He really does look like a king doesn't he?
