Dreamcatcher Escapees RV Park
George loves to stay busy. When we pulled in yesterday we noticed that our brake controller was on. He had already called prodigy before we were up and outside. Technical support told him that putting in the new batteries, could cause the problem. George reset the controller and the lights went out.
The next thing I knew George was pulling the wheels to check and make sure our brakes were okay. Thank goodness they were.
Anyone that knows Bill will deny that these hands could be his. Bill used to be called the teflon kid because dirt never stuck to him. Years ago he could mow grass in a three piece suit and not get dirty.
It turned very breezy so I spent the afternoon flying my kite while we waited for Harry and Carlena to arrive.
Harry, Carlena, Bill and I walked up to the clubhouse at 4 for Happy Hour. They had a nice turnout. There were two more "Jan's" at the Happy Hour.
We went to the Rancher's for dinner to celebrate. I'll give details of what we are celebrating at a later date.
There was enough food that went home with us for tomorrow night's dinner.
We all tossed around the idea of staying another day but I think it's been decided that we'll head east in the morning.
Turtle Safely.........
Nice that you got to control straightened out and the brakes checked, now cleaning up and enjoy more fun with friends.
ReplyDeleteMy dad was a pipe fitter. His hands looked like that every day he came home. Yuck.
ReplyDeleteI never knew they could be reset. My brake controller stayed on all night long, with lights blazing. I finally noticed it in the dark morning when my garage was lit up like a fire truck!! Glad you got it fixed.
ReplyDeleteThis just proves that you are always learning. RVers are always there to help. George did all the work, Bill did the clean up.
ReplyDeleteNever thought that I would see Bill's hands that dirty. Welcome to the Club, Bill.
ReplyDeleteIf you left today then you missed Taco Tuesday.
Be Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
