The Wheels Are Rolling Again

It's been incredibly busy these last few days.  George and Linda were flying back to Arizona on Wednesday and their plane was  to land at 6:45 am.  The night before the flight they found out it was cancelled and rescheduled to arrive at 12:15.  

I contacted Harry and Carlena to see if they wanted to meet us for lunch at Rudy's.  We knew it would be easier for them to see George and Linda in Chandler rather than drive to Casa Grande.  There was a lot of laughter and talking going on at the table.

George and Linda picked up their truck and RV and moved over to Sundance.  We moved over their on Thursday, but before we moved, we had to replace the batteries in the truck.  Thanks again, George for lugging those batteries around.  

We had a family doctor appointment on Friday and Bill had a cardiologist appointment.  Earlier in the week we made a  visit to the dentist and a dermatologist.  Now we're good for another six months or 10,000 miles. 

We left Casa Grande this morning before George and Linda as they were talking to the police.  It seems that someone broke into their truck and stole their GPS.  That doesn't say alot about a gated RV park.  

There was also a motive for us leaving ahead of them.  We made up our mind that we were not going to go past Benson without stopping to visit Don and Sharon Del Rosario.  They purchased a brand new home last fall and we hadn't seen it yet.  

It was much nicer than they described.  It is quite a change from the motorhome but just as nice.  I was so excited to see them that I didn't think to take pictures.  

Our timing was great as George and Linda were just pulling into Benson when we were leaving.

We pulled into Texas Canyon Rest Area and got the last parking spaces.  It was packed with RV's.  

By the time we arrived at Dreamcatcher Escapees Park it was almost 4 pm when we checked in.  Once we found out that the ice cream social was about to start, we left the rigs in the check in area, and stayed for the ice cream before setting up.  

Guess who is here?  Well I thought I had a picture of Jeri and Terry Williams, but I don't see Jeri.  She's behind her I-pad.  It's a small world when you are RVing.

Tomorrow we should have another couple here that we know.
